Job Description & Responsibilities
The FPG Digital Transformation Improvement Data Analyst position reports to the Senior Program Manager and will provide day to day support managing and analyzing data generated by FPG Digital Transformation and its clients, including the Faculty Practice Group (FPG).
In this role, the successful candidate assists with comprehensive data collection and analysis that integrates the institutional goals and initiatives related to digital transformation improvement with scheduling and registration activities and the clinical practices supported by FPG Digital Transformation.
Responsibilities Include
- Preparing large quantities of data into integrated, easily visualized, accurate and timely reports. The position is also responsible for assisting with the maintenance and support of various data tools.
- The FPG Digital Transformation Improvement Data Analyst expertise includes data analytics regarding ambulatory care operations and call center operations.
- Provides analytic support to multiple departments and develops a variety of complex ad hoc, production, and/or trend reports to support business decisions and operational processes for internal and external customers, at all levels of FPG team including leadership, practice managers and others.
Requirements
Education/skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with two (2) years’ work experience required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working in healthcare services.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience manipulating and analyzing data from large relational database files.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or other software associated with data analytics
- Understanding and/or experience with master data management or responsibility for large, complex data sets preferred
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions ensuring finished work products meet business requirements and expectations while being delivered on time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfort using a variety of data analytics/ visualization tools, including Web Intelligence Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
- Experience working with healthcare scheduling, physician practice management, call center operations, and/or data analytics team
- Ability to understand data at both a macro and micro level to identify high level trends and trouble shoot specific process issues
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions (FPG/ clinical practice operations, MIT Business Intelligence team)
What we offer
Pay Rate: $58,500.00 $65,000.00
