Job Description & Responsibilities
Are you a data analytics specialist with a focus in behavioral or public health research? Do you have strong SAS and R programming experience and experience with at least one other programming language (STATA, SPSS, and/or Python)? Do you enjoy data management and reporting? Then come join our team in support of large scale, federally funded, behavioral health surveys today!
ICF is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Data Analyst to support our Public Health Solutions Portfolio. This position can be based remotely or in any of our U.S. office locations, if preferred. It will be full-time, 40 hours per week.
What You Will Do
- Perform routine data management tasks (data cleaning, data processing, merging data files).
- Perform complex and advanced statistical analyses. Prepare reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, etc.
- Contribute to the development of:
- Data management and data analyses plans.
- Procedures for data collection (including recommendations among different sampling plans, data sources, and cost/time investments).
- Written or visual reports (dashboards, infographics).
- Proposal or grant submissions, including but not limited to technical writing.
Requirements
What You Must Have
- Professional degree (PhD or masters) in public health, psychology, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or related social science research field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience involving the management and analysis of quantitative heath data.
This experience must also include:
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute technical approaches to data management or analyses processes in support of research programming or projects.
- Proficiency in SAS statistical analysis and good knowledge of at least one additional statistical package (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, Python).
What We Would Love For You To Have
- Professional or educational experience in behavioral health (mental health or substance use treatment or prevention).
- Professional or educational experience in public health.
- Proficiency in both SAS and R.
- Experience developing dashboards or infographics in Tableau or similar tools.
- Experience in SQL programming.
- Experience with program evaluation.
What we offer
The pay range for this position is:
$93,668.00 - $159,236.00
