Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Portfolio Data Analyst to join our Portfolio Data Team!
Addepar provides asset owners and advisors a clearer financial picture at every level, allowing them to make more informed and timely investment decisions.
As a contributor in the team focusing on our portfolio data platform, you will be responsible for integrating client portfolio investment data into Addepar’s leading portfolio management products. You will work closely with data providers, internal team members and various engineering teams to expand Addepar’s capabilities and coverage to meet client needs. You will partner closely with leaders across the company to build distinguished data solutions and services that serve investment teams in wealth management and beyond. In addition, you work with other partners within the product management team on various initiatives to improve overall data management and integration across Addepar.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze content from a variety of external financial data providers by developing and supporting the integration of their portfolio data into Addepar’s data integration ecosystem.
- Partner with engineering, product management, data operations and various client service teams to deliver high quality, timely and reliable data solutions.
- Use your understanding of our existing data models to write technical requirements on how to transform raw data into functional content on our platform.
- Investigate issues raised by clients or partner teams to refine and implement fixes with our development team.
- Understand Addepar’s products and clients. Using these insights, work with counterparts within the business to drive new and innovative opportunities to improve the client experience.
- Contribute to the evolution of Addepar’s financial solutions to better serve our clients and cement Addepar’s role as the best-in-class integrator of market traded and alternative asset investments.
Requirements
Who You Are
- 2+ years of data product management experience with relevant finance domain-specific experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate working with vendors, clients and internal collaborators. Be able to communicate domain knowledge well both verbally and in writing for internal development teams, sales teams as well for clients and other external data partners.
- Ability to work cross functionally to define functional and technical implementations to craft effective solutions to a business problem. This includes understanding of high level data development concepts, data modeling, and the ability to write and review technical requirements documents.
- Experience working with financial data and concepts relevant to Addepar’s clients and products.

What we offer
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
MST and PST time zones preferred.
The current range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
