Data Analyst job description

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is expanding its Business Intelligence resources. We seek an energetic and progressive Information Systems Professional who will focus their energy toward defining and building BI and analytic solutions, integrating data from a variety of sources to support insightful analytics and reporting. Our environment includes both SaaS and internally hosted applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with current BI tools, experience with a variety of data structures and an ability to lead a diverse group of stakeholders with widely varying needs. This position requires an individual who has experience stitching together coherent solutions from a wide variety of application architectures, vendors, functional capabilities, and content. The successful candidate will work in a cutting-edge technology environment; enjoy competitive salary and benefits while working in a position that has an immediate impact in a growing industry.

What Will You Do?

  • Gather business requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications
  • Define and assist in the design of analytics solutions across the enterprise
  • Be an individual contributor to building out the analytics roadmap
  • Provide architectural recommendations for designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and scalable analytics solutions
  • A key team member within the reporting and analytics lifecycle; from requirements to daily operations
  • Listening; Translating wants into essential needs; Identifying points of leverage and efficiencies
  • Drive testing to ensure quality and repeatability, leading others to the same
  • Gather collaborative input and participate in process improvement and automation for analytics solutions
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Support, maintain and document solutions
  • A hands-on, individual contributor
Data Analyst job requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective communicator; strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Zero to three (0-3) years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with BI Tools
  • Deep understanding of data design and integration; hands-on experience with BI and analytics technologies
  • Familiar with SQL; hands-on experience using SQL-based query tools
  • Experience with analytic applications and mainstream data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Self-starter and quick to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based development projects
  • Degree or commensurate experience in Computer Science or MIS
  • While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce and ERP applications
  • Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies

Your Pay

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

$45,500.00 - $84,500.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
