Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst with experience in data analysis and reporting. In this role, you will build and maintain reporting tools to track data, using this data to define KPIs, generate reports, and build models. Applicants should have scripting skills in programming languages like SQL, VBA and Power BI, as you will be responsible for writing queries and other data transformation scripts.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Alpharetta, GA office

What The Day Will Look Like
- Collect, analyze, and report business data
- Gain deep product and process knowledge for client assignments
- Gain deep product and process knowledge of product, call and quality platforms
- Produce monthly client performance reporting
- Use large data sets to define KPIs and generate reports
- Build and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to track data
- Build predictive models
- Help maintain data frameworks
- Assist with process improvement
Requirements
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Industry experience in credit card, finance, or insurance
- Experience in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting (3-5 years preferred)
- Experience using BI tools (Microsoft Power BI a plus) for data visualization and reporting
SQL skills and experience with other programming languages associated with data analytics. - Attention to detail

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, finance or a related field (master's degree a plus)

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
