Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This individual will work across product, engineering, and business to create and deliver data that is usable and useful to support growth and retention.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is naturally curious, cares about early childhood education (or has edtech experience), and is comfortable navigating complex datasets for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to generate new reports and tooling for our internal analytics platform
- Partner with stakeholders across business, sales, and success to identify key insights
- Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing best practices for data collection, transformation, and reporting
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical teams through clear data visualizations and reports
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or experience working as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
- Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis, including experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or ggplot2
- Experience with Kibana and MySQL
- Excellent communication skills and ability to empower non-technical folks with data that delivers actionable insights
- Experience collaborating with engineers to design and implement data reporting tools and workflows
What we offer
This is a part-time (20 hours/week), US-based position (with the option to expand to full-time in the future). The expected base pay range for this remote position is $65,000 - $70,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Please note that candidates must be a US citizen, and will be required to pass a background check prior to employment.
