Data Analyst job description

We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our growing Data organization and help set up our Risk & Governance Team. As a Data Analyst III, you'll report directly to the Director of Regulatory Analytics and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create valuable insights to drive our business's growth. As an analyst, your work will be critical in building compliance and KPI reporting. You'll also be responsible for providing ongoing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders. We're looking for someone passionate, eager to learn, and can work well within a team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and directly contribute to our business's success. Your role as a Data Analyst III will be instrumental in shaping our future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
  • Design and build insightful metric definitions, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Collaboration with other Analysts and Data Engineering teams to find solutions to business problems.
  • Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence over time.
  • Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming industry.
  • As a storyteller, be able to translate data analyses into understandable terms to influence a business decision or action.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in an analytics role.
  • Strong SQL and Python(programming) proficiency.
  • Experienced with building dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, Looker).
  • Customer obsessed and experience focused; highly outcome-oriented and data-driven; experienced in working in high-growth environments.

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

  • Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $100,000 to $174,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed). In addition to the base, bonus, and equity, full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, paid time off, and other benefits like GymPass, Pet Insurance, Family Care Benefits, Free Shipt deliveries, and more.
