We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst who loves everything related to data: working with it, organizing it, transforming it, and creating and managing data systems. You’ll utilize your strong Excel and relational database skills to help expand our data operations function. As a Data Analyst, you’ll have direct exposure to senior leadership and strong career growth potential, including opportunities to collaborate directly with the team on strategic projects for the company.

What You’ll Do

• Process confidential customer data and information
• Develop normalization and quality assurance processes to ensure data transformations match customer requirements and system functions
• Identify trends and opportunities through analysis of complex data sets
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
• Identify process improvement opportunities, draft solutions, and advocate for change
• Contribute to helping build our Data Operations function and processes
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Use internal team tools to keep track of work progress
• Other projects as needed

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3 years proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Expert Excel skills are a must (An Excel skills test will be administered during the interview process)
• Prior experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is great to have
• Previous experience with data visualization tools like QuickSight is a plus
• Ability to work remotely and stay focused
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Integrity and ability to show the highest level of confidentiality when working with sensitive data
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• High level of integrity and commitment to scale an early-stage business
