Data Analyst, EverConnect – Remote US/CAN

We are looking for a Data Analyst to focus on Everconnect. EverConnect is a rapidly growing performance marketing, lead generation, and digital media solutions company that delivers measurable ROI for its clients across multiple verticals. Our team specializes in connecting customers to service providers through multiple acquisition channels of acquisition and lead distribution. We have vast digital marketing experience, we develop and deploy innovative media strategies, and have robust expertise in marketing to clients of all sizes.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to provide product analytics, insights and forecasting to take our next generation performance marketing platform to the next level. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis across the organization. This role calls for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual with a passion for data and analytics and being part of a high-growth company. Our ideal candidate pays meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of data processing and analysis. They strive for accuracy and precision, ensuring that data is thoroughly reviewed, and errors are minimized or eliminated. They understand billing, pricing, CRMs, and databases and Product Success Metrics- they aren’t afraid to dive into the data to identify process improvements and efficiencies and can pull themself out of the details to summarize and communicate findings with key decision makers within the organization. They take ownership of their work and take an active role in determining goals and priorities for both themself and the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain full knowledge and understanding of the systems and processes that the organization uses
  • Research, develop, modify, and deploy data-collection processes.
  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
  • Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction
  • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  • Provide automated dashboards/scorecards to management on company key performance indicators
  • Collaborate regularly with various departments and staff members, including Finance, Marketing and Customer service teams
  • Assist Product Management and Customer Success with insights into business performance on key metrics.
  • Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
  • Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Data Analyst job requirements

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer/Data Science, or other related field with a top-tier academic background, or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 3 years of post-undergraduate relevant work experience in a highly analytical environment; SaaS, payments, and/or Marketing technology industry experience preferred
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
  • 3+ years proven experience with reporting tools such as Kibana, Elastic, Power Bi / Tableau
  • 2+ years of SQL experience.
  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
  • Experience creating and maintaining a live dashboard, integrating raw data sources with excel live output, creating dashboard with key business metrics continuously
  • Knowledge of Excel and data modeling
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated experience with creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
  • Extreme attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and organization
  • Low ego, “no-job-too-small” attitude with a willingness to shift from high-level critical thinking to necessary mundane tasks required to complete a job
  • Self-starter with a drive for excellence, ability to build strong working relationships, and a proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Experience working closely with operation and finance/accounting business partners
  • Working knowledge of SQL or other databases
  • Experience in scoping, calculating, and presenting on data analysis projects
  • Propensity to overcome challenges and solve “hard” problems.
  • Internal drive for continuous improvement (knowledge, standards, best practices).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust communication to fit the audience.

Compensation:

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000 USD Per Year.
