Data Analyst job description

Digible, Inc. is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team! As the Data Analyst, your main objective is to improve the overall efficiency of the company by identifying operational issues and fostering accountability by tracking leading and lagging measurables. You will be collecting data, joining it together, and building analytics to tell a story about the organization's processes, capacity, performance and operating efficiency. Additionally, you should obsess about what metrics & goals have the strongest correlation / causation to the expected outcomes and assist key stakeholders on implementing them. The position will report to Digible's Chief Operating Officer, and work closely with the Marketing Operations Engineer, Implementation Manager, and leadership of the major functions of the enterprise.

What you'll do:

  • Own operations analytics by assisting and consulting with the Chief Operating Officer to uncover opportunities to improve efficiencies and track progress of key initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to assure leading indicators are actionable and meaningful in achieving their expected outcomes or lagging measurables
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested
  • Assist Marketing Operations Engineer with Salesforce Admin duties such as managing users, quality control, and data integrity

Develop and maintain operations analytics including but not limited to leading KPIs, lagging measurables, media performance benchmarks, and process, capacity & error rate analytics by:

  • Writing SQL to structure and build data sets
  • Collect, store, automate all company metrics
  • Partner with the Data and Analytics department to have ETL processes developed & automated
  • Build and maintain compelling analytics dashboards
  • Develop, maintain, and report on all major functions measures & KPIs
  • Integrate & automate measures in to our EOS software's data scorecards
Data Analyst job requirements

How success will be measured:

  • Accounts per Employee, Operating Costs / Accounts, Labor Efficiency Ratio (LER)
  • Completeness of measures in EOS Scorecard
  • Relevant leading indicators to expected outcomes/measures (Causation)
  • Actionable measures: # or % of issues created from EOS data scorecards
  • Reporting & data accuracy

You should have:

  • 2+ years of operations or business analytics experience including developing and maintaining KPI's and OKR's
  • Bachelor degree in business analytics, operations research, data analytics, or economics
  • Master degree in a like discipline is a plus, but not required
  • Built and maintained cross functional dashboards and scorecards
  • Strong ability to mine data and build data models in SQL
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL including 2+ years of utilizing for analytics development
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Quicksight, Looker, Tableau, etc
  • Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Big Query, or Redshift
