Deploys data-driven exploratory analysis as well as predictive models to solve business problems. Designs and analyzes experiments to test new product ideas and convert the results into actionable product recommendations. Leads Analytics Model development, validation and maintenance. Assists with data collection, cleaning, visualization, model building, training, testing, and presentations to build analytics capability and drive efficiencies.

What Part Will You Play?

• Implements data and analytics solutions, through data science techniques, that solve business problems and create business value.
• For complex product offerings, closely works with TSYS partners that provide data science products and services to ensure that data science work being done meets TSYS standards and needs.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to business insight managers, as needed.
• Creates and refines real-time analytic models to understand client and/or prospect needs in order to maximize the value of data driven resources
• Applies advanced statistical techniques to understand ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends.
• Leads and executes independent quantitative research projects, leveraging data from multiple sources
• Uses best practices to understand the data and develop statistical, analytical techniques to build models that address business needs.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline
• Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp
• Demonstrated experience with analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, HiveQL, Spark, Hadoop). Proficiency with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling techniques.
• Background in accounts payable, B2B payments, or financial software, with a deep understanding of AP processes and challenges.
• Experience in using data to develop customer-centric solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Master's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline
