Data Analyst job description

We are looking for a Data Analyst 3 to support our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. In this critical role, you'll take ownership of the management, analysis, and implementation of data to inform decisions and craft tailored business strategies that drive our company’s initiatives forward.

What You'll Do

Design and Implementation

  • Develop engaging dashboards/datasets and create intuitive dashboard filters and beast mode calculations.
  • Modify datasets for privacy compliance.

Data Maintenance and Reporting

  • Resolve issues with filters, parameters, and calculations.
  • Integrate data from multiple platforms seamlessly while maintaining data integrity and sourcing critical data.
  • Oversee and manage periodic reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Administration

  • Address Domo user inquiries promptly.
  • Control dashboard access and Outlook Group memberships.
  • Design, implement and maintain robust Personal Data Protection policies.
  • Update employee rosters and handle IT tickets.

Data Analyst job requirements

What We Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in business/finance, business intelligence, and data analytics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Domo.
  • Expertise in SQL coding and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with a proven mastery in building complex dashboards and advanced calculations.
  • Deep knowledge of data privacy policies and experience in advanced data maintenance.
