What You Will Do
In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving data-driven decision-making by mining, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating insights to Global Services stakeholders. Your work will empower business leaders to turn data into actionable strategies that achieve impactful results. While your primary focus will be on analyzing data for the Trimble Protected protection plan business, you'll also contribute to data analysis and reporting across other areas within Global Services. You'll deliver insights both regularly and on an ad hoc basis, becoming a trusted partner in helping stakeholders make informed decisions that shape the future of the division.
- Protection Plan warranty costs (total / trends, by product and by dealer)
- Protection Plan monthly/quarterly sales reporting
- Protection Plan pricing (compare to other industries)
- Trimble warranty costs by dealer, as a percent of sales to the dealer
- Travel costs by GS employee
- Product quality analysis using service/support data from various sources
- Warranty cost trends by account and by product
- Analyze product data gathered through telemetry to drive predictive service/support actions
Requirements
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- BS or BA degree in a quantitative discipline or three years of experience in a role with quantitative analysis responsibilities and deliverables
- Experience with SQL, data visualization and programming languages for effective manipulation, extraction, analysis and modeling of data
- Experience with DOMO or a similar Business Intelligence system
- Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques to analyze and draw meaningful insights to enable informed decision making
- Proficient in working with imperfect or incomplete data, transforming it into meaningful insights, and driving continuous improvements in data quality
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with many different internal teams to understand the outcomes they are trying to achieve and assist them with translating data insights into strategies to achieve these outcomes
- Intellectual curiosity, coupled with a passion for problem solving
- Skill in facilitating understanding of data analysis and trends to varying levels of the organization, among both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
Hiring Range
$87,500 - $116,000
