Job Description & Responsibilities
The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a Data Analyst who will support the Research, Evaluation & Strategy department (RES).
Essential Functions
- Analyzes output and outcome data for all CCI Initiatives providing clear, understandable reports.
- Analyzes outcome data for key YMCA programs including, but not limited to, day camp, teen programs, aquatics, and school day programming.
- Updates surveys and creates Qualtrics survey reports under guidance of VP, Research, Evaluation & System Strategy. Analyzes survey data to provide overall organizational view.
- Provides Excel training under guidance of Director and VP of RES Conducts Data Quality checks of programs to support program impact measurement.
- Updates Reporting and Data documentation, as needed, under the oversight of RES and CCI Vice Presidents.
- Assist with development and implementation of program evaluation frameworks and logic models.
- Actively participate and support RES and CCI departments in trainings, designated meetings, and special events
- Other activities and duties as required.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
- Experience in data analysis or program evaluation.
- Experience learning new data systems.
- Interest in evaluating community programs or strategies.
- Culturally competent in a range of diverse contexts.
- Openness to feedback and review of work; appreciation of quality control/assurance protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail and timeliness of deliverables.
- Experience in analyzing data sets within Tableau preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Annually
