Job Description & Responsibilities
Seeking a highly analytical, dedicated professional who wants to flourish in a growing company. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with minimal coaching, unconventionally curious, and an excellent communicator able to work with technical and non-technical people at various levels of the organization. The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst II is to support the facility through consistent delivery of analytic output. A successful Data Analyst II is expected to import, clean, transform, and assist in interpreting data sets, as well as identify and support areas for process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Query, clean, analyze, and report data to create a foundation of business metrics and objectives.
- Initiate conversations with key stakeholders to understand business problems, situations and opportunities where data analytics and reporting can be utilized to improve decision making and operational results.
- Create procedures and standards and train stakeholders/peers on how to use data sources.
- Partner with internal customers to understand targets by building and developing methods of measuring and defining savings, value, and other operational metrics. Evaluate appropriateness of data for ad hoc requests and projects, outlining additional requirements and assumptions as necessary
- Implement and support governance processes. Track metrics/KPIs to measure and trend processes, including creation of recurring reports to drive improvements.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree
- 2 to 5 years experience in data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Office, including Excel pivots and V-lookups
- Owning the outcome of work and attention to detail
- Clear and effective written and oral communication; presenting/speaking with stakeholders
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Adaptable to work in a manufacturing environment (flexibility to changes)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects for multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred
Physical / Safety Requirements
- Frequently required to sit, stand and use hands to perform data entry
- Need close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
What we offer
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Simtra BioPharma Solutions, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 - $88,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
