Job Description & Responsibilities
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving databases and system administration. This includes database design, implementation and maintenance, security administration, capacity planning, performance tuning and performance monitoring, job scheduling, data backup and recovery, business continuity planning and testing, installing vendor software products, coordination of and responsibility for system availability, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and security of information. This position is dedicated to Oklahoma Human Services.
Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks
- Support the Information Services Division
Responsibilities
- Carry out automation and monitoring of all steps of MLOps, including integration, testing, releasing, deployment, and infrastructure management.
- Performs analyses, development, and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
- Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy and overall quality.
- Interacts with user community to produce reporting requirements.
- Provides technical consulting to users of the various data warehouses and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
- Prototypes solutions, prepares test scripts, and conducts tests.
- Responsible for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses.
- Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments.
Requirements
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, data management, math, statistics, or a related field, and 2 years experience, or an associate’s degree in computer science, management information systems, data management, math, statistics, or a related field and 4 years experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Possess
- An extensive knowledge of data warehouse/data mart, data quality and master data management concepts.
- Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools.
- Possess technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes.
