Job Description & Responsibilities
The Development Management Office (DMO) supports Design Engineering, New Site Development, Construction, Innovation, Sustainability and Project Controls teams within the Vantage Development & Engineering (D&E) global organization. The DMO develops standards for business process, documents these standards within an automated project management framework and manages dashboard-based reporting for the Development & Engineering organization.
The DMO is responsible for design, documentation and management of the business process flow coordinating the activities of D&E and other teams along the way. The DMO ensures that key stakeholders are engaged in the decision-making process to align project conditions, design goals and schedule targets to corporate goals. The DMO works to empower each member across teams to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.
Position Overview
Vantage is looking for a mid-level Data Analyst who is strong in analytics to handle projects, create dashboards, report & analyze data to drive project management excellence. As a member of the DMO team, the Development Data Analyst collaborates with system and data owners to develop Vantage’s dashboarding capability.
They will transform data into information using visualization tools and techniques to support business decision making. The Development Data Analyst will extract meaningful insights, ideas and opportunities using strategic thinking. They will support users by establishing performance reporting standards requiring in depth evaluation and skill to scale. Collaborating with other business reporting SMEs, they will drive consistency and contribute to the BI strategy and roadmap. You will support customer and internal audit, compliance/ad-hoc requests by creating dashboards, reports and analyses as required.
Duties
- Build reporting capabilities via data visualization system(s) with appropriate cost / benefit
- Translate and communicate business and operational results where findings are presented in standard, graphical views that enable users to dynamically adjust
- Continually adjust data visualization solutions and outputs to support changing business needs
- Query, scrub & model data to gain more in-depth insight into relationships and trends
- Provide counsel and leadership on visualization improvements
- Interpret, carefully evaluate, and identify actionable insights from performance reporting results
- Support users with reporting and collaboration tools
- Build reporting capabilities via data visualization system(s) with appropriate cost / benefit
- Translate and communicate business and operational results where findings are presented in standard, graphical views that enable users to dynamically adjust
- Continually adjust data visualization solutions and outputs to support changing business needs
- Provide counsel and leadership on visualization improvements

- Understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Information Technology/Data Science) or Engineering, Construction Management or, equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of Business Intelligence and Data Visualization and Management
- Experience in an EPC, client or construction organization is preferable but not essential
- Statistics & analytics (descriptive, diagnostic & predictive)
- Data Visualization - MS Power BI, Tableau
- Other Tools – Integration with Procore, Oracle Primavera (P6), MS 360 Suite, Sharepoint skills
- Effective personal and social skills, including the ability to influence others, drive new capabilities, and bring new ways of thinking into the company
- Self-motivated, change catalyst
- Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent problem-solving, logical process thinking and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and chip in quickly is required

- Travel is expected to be less than 5%, but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 total compensation (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
