Department: Critical Care Medicine Bargaining Unit: Non Union Campus: MOSES
Employment Status: Regular
Full-Time Address: 111 East 210th Street, Bronx
Shift: Day Scheduled Hours: 9 AM-5:30 PM
This entry-level position will work with the Critical Care Research team to develop and maintain databases necessary for research and clinical productivity and quality improvement; prepare and generate reports/slides for research, and quality improvement and clinical outcomes measurements; query and retrieve data from hospital databases and Clinical Looking Glass; process data for export to statisticians and clinical coordination centers, process and upload electronically abstracted data to electronic case report forms for research, monitor and do quality check of data entry from research coordinators, serve as liaison with IT, informatics and data management team for research and technical support; do statistical analysis under the supervision of the Director of Critical Care Research for research and administrative purposes, perform divisional data collection and data entry into CCM databases and upload to electronic case report forms; assist in evaluating systems/methods for providing care for the seriously ill patient population; provide administrative support for the Directors of CCM Division, CCM Research; develop and performs quality control procedures to ensure regulatory storage compliance/security and integrity of data.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree required; Masters Prefered
- Must have advanced working knowledge of and experience in MS Access, MS Query, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint; SQL preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of statistical programming with SAS, STATA, SPSS or R.
- Experience in groupware application, such as MS Outlook.
- Experience with MS Windows 7 operating system, and LAN/WAN configurations.
- Experience with PC hardware.
What we offer
Salary Range: $58,500.00 $65,000.00
