Job Description & Responsibilities
As a data analyst, you will work closely with product managers, game designers, UX/UI artists, and product owners to come up with data-driven insights on improving player experience. Your work will directly influence what features are built, changed, and prioritized. You will also be responsible for running A/B tests across multiple game titles, in addition to creating and updating dashboards to monitor game performance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product owners to identify, execute, and present analyses with actionable insights.
- Run A/B tests on various game titles, owning the process from forming hypothesis, to analyzing the results, and presenting next steps.
- Create in-depth analyses, tools, and dashboards to highlight the in-game behaviors that drive monetization, engagement, and player retention.
- Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities of improvement.
- Work with data engineers and game developers on tracking player behavior and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Math, Economics or in Computer Science with Modeling/Data Science coursework
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, and familiarity with a scripting language (Python, R)
- 1+ years Work Experience in analytics, mobile gaming, product analytics or eCommerce
- Experience with statistical inference and analytics techniques (A|B testing, ANOVA, regression, decision trees etc.)
- Skilled in analyzing data and drawing appropriate conclusions. Able to effectively translate statistical findings to business strategies that positively impact the business and customer.
- Ability to work productively with others in a highly collaborative manner across multiple teams.
