Job Description & Responsibilities
Are you passionate about utilizing data and agile to change the way we do our business? Interested in utilizing your Domain Knowledge, Software, Mathematical, Visualization, and Communication skills to deliver meaningful insights that drive better questions?
As a Data Analyst II - Site you will work under moderate supervision as a key enabler to secure realization of business value from analytics, data and new ways of working. You have a strong customer focus, a strong value mindset and innate curiosity. You will utilize analytics tools as well as agile ways of working to analyze, execute and follow up on initiatives from idea to industrialization.
A Data Analyst II - Site believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Working with a focus on value creation, growth, and servicing the operation with full ownership and accountability.
- Use statistical and programming tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI analyzing data and develop actionable insights
- Constructively challenges in site agile teams to develop robust ideas and translate business problems into mathematical problems.
- Reviews the analytics work product of others to ensure it aligns with statistical guidelines and delivers tangible business value
- Develop visualizations that convey insights
- Prepare deliverable reports for business teams.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent and seven (7) years of closely related work experience in an analytical area; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering, computer science, analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant work experience; OR
- Master’s degree in a technical engineering, computer science, analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline and two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Proficient at using Python, SQL, Power BI and other analytical tools to execute analysis and visualize results
- Communicate and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders
- Analyze large amounts of data into clear insights
- Translate business processes, problems into analytical requirements
Criteria/Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
- Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator. Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting.
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

Compensation:
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $69,000 - $94,000/year. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
