Data Analyst job description

Under general supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis to enable informed business decisions. Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. Uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via an increasing understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.

Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive customer engagement journey strategy to enhance the overall customer experience with the emphasis of driving revenue.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align use cases, initiatives with business objectives.

Customer Journey Mapping

  • Map customer journeys to identify key engagement criterion, touchpoints and interactions.
  • Analyze customer behavior and feedback to optimize and refine journey maps.
  • Responsible for all strategy, journey mapping, audience requirements, business functional requirements, campaign development and analytics strategy.

Journey Orchestration System Management

  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the journey orchestration system.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency to support effective customer journey management.

Automation And Personalization

  • Implement automation tools within the journey orchestration system to streamline processes.
  • Personalize customer interactions through targeted communication and content.
  • Recommends and implements segmentation, targeting and personalization tactics to improve response and conversion, while maximizing marketing ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing teams to integrate campaigns into the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align configuration and journey processes with lead management and conversion strategies.
  • Collaboratively tests, evaluates, and continually optimizes targeted customer lifecycle journeys to drive performance against business objectives.

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer journey success.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
  • Leverages actional insights to create data-driven lifecycle campaigns that drive KPIs.

Training And Support

  • Provide training to internal teams on journey orchestration best practices and system usage.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for CRM-related issues.

Compliance And Data Security

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Implement and maintain data security measures.
  • Proven experience in customer experience management and strategy development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and automation tools.
  • Understanding of customer experience principles.
  • Experience in MarTech and working with Adobe, Salesforce, Qualtrics, 6sense, etc.
Data Analyst job requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance.
  • Two (2) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics.
  • Proficient in analytics software and applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Domicile

This position may be located anywhere within the United States.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.

Salary Range Estimate:

$66,156 - $115,416.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
