Job Summary

Colorado Care Partners (CPP) is responsible for the development and implementation of HCA HealthONE’s Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) and the related population health management program. The Data Analyst is a subject-matter specialist who actively participates in the ongoing development and implementation of the population health management information technology solution, as designed by value based g and Clinical Team program requirements.

The Data Analyst will provide continual support of the implementation and design process for the population health solution, including mapping, interface of claims and electronic medical record data from multiple data sources, testing of data integrity, and continued set up of user dashboards. Additionally this role will provide analysis, ad hoc reporting, report configuration, scorecard configuration, and assist in the setup of report distribution to: the internal Clinical Team, CPP Leadership and Data Analytics teams. This role will assist in defining and monitoring the ongoing operational requirements of the population health management solution.

The Data Analyst is a part of the CCP organization of HCA. This technically focused position with the CPP team is responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying our business intelligence population health management solution. This goal will be achieved by working with cross-functional business teams. The Data Analyst II is responsible for implementation, administrative tasks, and supporting dashboard and report solutions development.

The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with CCP’s Data Analytics team (Business Analysts/Data Scientists) and Clinical Team, as well as Project Managers, IT &S, Physician Advisory Committee members, CCP Leadership, and external vendor implementation and support teams. This role will provide leadership regarding reporting and Business Intelligence, BI, as well as support and develop subject matter knowledge for reporting within the population health management solution. The Data Analyst will ensure the effective design, build, deployment, documentation and maintenance of databases

Data Analyst job requirements

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors degree or 6 years of directly related experience required
  • 2+ years data/process/ analysis experience preferred, 3+ years healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with population health data / clinical quality measures reporting and related data sources required
  • Experience with implementation and support of population health management information technology solutions preferred
  • Experience in BI Reporting development projects preferred
  • Experience with Teradata and SQL Server are desired
  • Experience in an Agile BI Reporting development environment highly desirable
  • Familiarity with BI tool architectures, functions, and features desired
  • Tableau or MicroStrategy experience desired. If coming from another BI platform, certification in required within one year of employment.
