Job Description & Responsibilities
Wolfe Research, LLC is a premier research boutique with a commitment to best-in-class content and ongoing strategic growth. We produce research that we believe is the most objective and distinguished in our sectors, and we deliver our services with intense care and specificity to each of our institutional clients. Wolfe Research is seeking a motivated and data-driven Associate to join our Operations team. The associate will report into the Director of Operations and be responsible for data management and modeling across all departments at Wolfe. Initially, this role will focus on the administration, monitoring, integration, and process management for data across the company in all business units. As the associate develops, their role will evolve to focus on working with Product Management and Development to develop machine learning models and drive business growth via actionable data insights.
Responsibilities:
- Management of data administration for overly complex or sensitive data
- Data monitoring setup to ensure and enforce data management processes
- Work with Product Management to operationalize and automate data processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders like Finance, Research, Compliance, Sales & Management to generate business insights that empower decision making
- Input into systems integrations as it relates to data transfer and governance (working with Product Management and Development)
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting, and partner with Product Management and Development to operationalize repeated reporting and analyses
- Drive machine learning initiatives within Tech/Operations as business needs evolve
- Be a data mentor to business stakeholders – educate them on data available to them, how best to utilize that data, and how to level up their data and reporting skills for basic and repeatable use cases.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications :
- Demonstrated logic-based thought process
- Experience with collecting, organizing, and querying large complex data sets
- Advanced in Excel
- SQL advanced experience
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau etc
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks
- Basic knowledge and usage of version control systems/tools such as Github
- Use of Python coding libraries preferred, basic python knowledge required
- Background in LLM/NLP, machine learning, and/or AI is a plus
What we offer
At Wolfe Research we feel passionately about equal pay for equal work and pay transparency is an integral practice for that. The compensation for this role is market competitive with rate ranging from $70,000 – $110,000.
We intend to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill-set, job-related experience, and location.
