Job Description & Responsibilities
Description
- Adheres to data standards, policy, and procedures in day-to-day execution by understanding industry best practices.
- Develops and maintains data steward capability, data catalog, lineage, and data dictionary ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
- Executes defined approaches for different dimensions of data management to ensure consistency across assigned business units.
- Reviews data sets to proactively identify definition and consistency concerns; analyzes error reports to identify issues and trends throughout the data lifecycle.
- Executes the roadmap for data management, with guidance from more senior level analysts.
- Drives compliance to data governance standards and policies to ensure data is managed as a critical asset and data standards followed.
- Acts as a liaison between the business and technology teams to facilitate proactive, effective data management.
- Develops data profiling processes, leading to data quality analysis, recommendations, and clean-up.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Experience actively implementing data management in a large organizational context
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
What we offer
Pay Range: $49,700.00 - $94,400.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
