Job Description & Responsibilities
As the Senior Data Analyst for Finance, you will report to the Manager of Data Services and provide ad-hoc and recurring monthly data analysis services for the Sonepar Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will work very closely with the Sonepar FP&A, Data Services and Business Intelligence (BI) development teams to support all planning, forecasting budgeting and analytical needs of the Sonepar FP&A team. This will include developing reusable dashboard/reports/analytics that will be used by FP&A on a regular basis to determine the overall financial health and performance of Sonepar USA and it’s US operating companies. This will also include ad-hoc reporting and data mining to surface certain as requested.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years previous experience supporting reporting and analytics needs of a complex enterprise working sales, logistics, supply chain/logistics, finance and accounting teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc…).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL and Snowflake.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
Other Skills/experience Desired
- Understanding of distribution and supply chain concepts, operational performance management financial & accounting concepts, including balance sheet, income and other financial statements.
- Innovative and willing to propose solutions to problems presented and exercise discernment/judgment to develop useful solutions.
- Ability to succinctly communicate priorities, deadlines, and roadblocks.
- Ability to understand and align business priorities with IT capabilities.
- Organize and present data effectively based on the audience/consumers.
- Outstanding time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfortable asking questions/seeking directions to ensure deliverables are timely and accurate.

Compensation: $90K to $110K plus 15% bonus potential
