Senior Data Analyst job description

As a Senior Data Analyst at Rightway, you'll be responsible for building the analytical infrastructure to drive healthcare value across both our PBM and Navigation platforms. Your advanced skills in medical economics, clinical quality, and outcomes measurement will be leveraged to improve our understanding of health trends and enable data-driven decision making.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop comprehensive healthcare analytics focusing on medical economics, clinical quality, and outcomes measurement.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to provide actionable insights as well as refine and develop data processes for scalability.
  • Use advanced statistical analysis techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of our clinical management programs and devise measures for assessing efficacy on a recurring basis.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Rightway's analytical infrastructure by implementing data preparation tools and automated reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize data integrity and performance.
Senior Data Analyst job requirements

WHO YOU ARE:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a data analytics role within healthcare with a focus on medical economics, clinical quality, and outcomes measurement.
  • At least 3 years of experience analyzing medical and pharmacy data.
  • At least 3 years of experience with frameworks for measuring healthcare quality such as HEDIS and CMS Stars metrics.
  • Expert-level SQL and Python coder with the ability to write production-level code.
  • Knowledgeable about statistical analysis techniques with experience applying these to real-world healthcare problems.
  • Ability to anticipate stakeholder requirements and deliver valuable insights and BI tools
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and can adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and can effectively explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.

EXTRA CREDIT:

  • Experience with data services such as Lambda, Glue, and DBT.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code services such as Terraform or Cloudformation.
  • Experience with emerging AI technologies
