Job Description & Responsibilities
The Business Analytics team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to enable data-driven decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. The role is based in our San Francisco office and reports to the Business Analytics Manager. The Sr. Analyst will partner with a diverse group of senior stakeholders to leverage data as a strategic asset, uncover inefficiencies, track progress, and identify gaps and opportunities for the business. It is a high visibility role with a great level of autonomy and opportunity for growth.
Here are a few of the things you will do:
- Partner with the Sales, Member Experience, Business Operations and Ecosystem Marketing teams to establish and track success metrics, explore customer behavior, and deliver strategic insights.
- Perform data analysis to discover and investigate trends, patterns, and anomalies in core performance metrics;
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to business partners and senior leadership to advance company goals;
- Implement data structures and models using Looker, creating interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights;
- Validate, clean, and maintain data integrity to guarantee the reliability of our analyses.
Requirements

- You are highly independent, resourceful and proactively dive into ambiguous problems with minimal guidance.

- You are a strong communicator and have an art for communicating complex findings in a simple way.
- You are comfortable working in a geographically diverse and multicultural business environment and possess high EQ to build and manage relationships with your stakeholders.

Here is what is needed:
- Bachelor's degree with a background in a quantitative field, or equivalent work experience;
- 4+ years of experience in a Data Analytics role;
- Expert experience using SQL and writing data pipelines;
- Proficiency with Looker, strongly preferred;
- Python experience preferred;
- Proven track record collaborating with teams to leverage data-driven insights to improve performance;
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary + meaningful equity based on merit and market.
- $135-$150k base (for California-based roles)
