Job Description & Responsibilities
Due to major growth we are expanding our Data team in the US and currently looking for an Sr. Data Analyst to join the team.
In this role you will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making through improved data flows and enhancing the suite of data and analytic tools and capabilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Data Analytics:
- Transform and curate raw data into analysis-ready datasets.
- Optimize and harden code and queries and deploy data flows and models to the production environment.
- Building useful data visualisations and communicating a story through data, conducting impact analysis and attribution.
- Writing clear, concise and efficient code ( SQL, Python, R, Spark) and collaborating on Git/Github.
- Provide the team with ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools so that everyone gets a good sense of the state of the business - key metrics (experience in Tableau).
Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A/B.S.) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, econometrics and/or 5+ years of experience in a data analyst position.
- Proficient with coding language, SQL is a must, R or Python.
- Significant experience with data visualisation principles and techniques using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire etc.) to visualise results
- Experience with Big Data, Big Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Clustering, Data Management, Data Mining, Data Modeling, Data Science, Data Visualization, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Predictive Analytics and Modeling.
What we offer
Base compensation for this role is $146,300 and benefits include accrued PTO, 401(k) company matching,10 paid holidays, health, dental, vision coverages, and the ability to work remotely!
