MTI is building a growing financial community who grow together on their investment journey, sharing insights and financial news.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our data analytics team. You will work closely with business leaders to leverage data to drive business strategy and growth. Your analytical skills and ability to communicate data insights effectively are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing, operations, product and other groups to understand key business questions and identify opportunities to provide data-driven solutions
• Design and develop scalable processes and systems to capture, integrate, organize, analyze, and visualize large, complex data from multiple sources
• Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to uncover trends, patterns, and insights to guide strategic decisions
• Clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations through presentations, reports, and visualizations tailored to various audiences from executives to front line employees
• Proactively identify areas for business optimization, risk reduction, and improved performance based on the data
• Lead data-focused team projects including scoping, project planning and driving progress

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Excel. Python, R and data visualization tools would be plus
• Experience building statistical models
• Strong understanding of statistics, analytics techniques, and financial concepts
• Ability to translate complex data and analyses into actionable recommendations
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences
• Financial services industry experience highly preferred
• B.S. or M.S. in Statistics, Business Analytics, or similar field
• English and mandarin required
