Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join Greenlight’s Product Analytics team. We are looking for someone who thrives in taking on complex analytical solutions with the initiative, problem-solving, and curiosity needed to find accurate and actionable insights. As part of the Product Analytics team, you will support cross-functional business needs spanning the whole scope of our company. This role will focus on taking data from disparate sources to drive better business decisions.

The ideal candidate can quickly identify trends in our data, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate their impacts on our business. We are seeking someone who is comfortable collaborating directly with stakeholders to understand business decisions and strategically solve business problems. This will include ad-hoc reporting, dashboard building, statistical analysis, and data narrative story building.
This role will report directly to Greenlight's Senior BI & Analytics Manager.
What you will be doing:
- Digging deep, mining our data - Diving into internal consumer data to help speed up decision making and move key business metrics. Explain the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of data results
- Creating training and internal performing quality assurance and ongoing monitoring of current reports and data for accuracy and usage
- Adapting, solving problems - Making connections between data that might seem unrelated, and think creatively
- Using your skills to clearly explain your findings
- Communicating - Explaining the importance of patterns in the data, and suggest solutions (Use your visual, oral, and written communication skills to deliver solutions)
- Bridging gaps between the data and the business - Working with cross-functional teams to create and communicate actionable, data-based insights
- Developing and maintaining advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to Tableau, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow
- Building out statistical analysis using tools such as Python or R
- Modifying existing reports dashboards as directed
Requirements
What you should bring:
- 5+ years of Data Analyst or Data Science experience with great analytical instincts and the ability to glean insights from large swaths of data
- Hands-on experience with SQL and advanced skills that allow you to easily extract data from multiple data sources for analysis and visualization
- Enterprise data warehousing experience, preferably with Snowflake or other cloud-based solutions, and are familiar with modeling and ETL/ELT best practices
- Excellent data visualization skills, preferably using Tableau, and are familiar with best-in-class dashboarding techniques
- Experience working cross-functionally with other teams and departments. This position will require bringing different disciplines and points of view together, as well as balancing competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with Proficiency in Python, R, or another scripting language along with associated statistical and data science packages. A strong understanding of how to rigorously apply these concepts to inform business decisions effectively.

Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $145,000- 170,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $145,000 - 160,000
