Job Description & Responsibilities
Lucid is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst. We are looking for someone to lead the development of the Business Intelligence function for Lucid’s Sales organizations.
The ideal candidate is skilled in developing business dashboards, working with large datasets, and working with cross functional teams to gather and document requirements, and deliver analytics solutions. The candidate should have an aptitude for story telling using data and be comfortable with ambiguity.
The Role
- Work with multiple stakeholders within the Service Organization to understand their business needs and develop analytics solutions
- Develop KPIs (key performance indicators) by gathering and documenting requirements, identifying, and extracting data, and developing solutions
- Work with business process owners to develop process & data flows to streamline business processes
- Take ownership of the quality and reliability of business data of your primary stakeholders
- Develop ad-hoc data and reporting solutions by extracting data from multiple sources using automated scripts to generate reports and dashboards
- Present and communicate business impacts to stakeholders based on your analysis
- Collaborate and communicate best practices in data science with other analysts (e.g., code reviews, data integrity, and data reliability)
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years relevant experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Data Analytics role
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field
- Advanced expertise in SQL
- Experience developing ETLs and with data warehousing technologies (AWS Redshift or similar)
- Fluency in a data processing language such as Python or R
- Proven proficiency with Tableau (or related BI software) and data visualization
- Experience with statistical Data Science techniques (machine learning, data mining, predictive analytics)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize
- Willingness and flexibility to tackle a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, exciting environment
What we offer
Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
- California San Francisco Bay Area - $108,000 - $145,500 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits : Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
