Job Description & Responsibilities
The Wiland View Product Data Analyst acts as a crucial link between IT and the Wiland View data business, focusing on optimizing the quality and understanding of both the source data and processes constituting the products. This role is responsible for researching, monitoring, and analyzing the product build and delivery technology to resolve issues, improve results, identify improvements or enhancements, and provide input into data product design and production systems. The core responsibilities include conducting detailed analysis of the data product “supply chain”, including both existing and proposed data sources and the processing applied to transform that data into products. The Product Data Analyst will be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong communication skills, adept at problem solving, and proficient in the tools and technologies necessary to analyze and present data effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Prototype new product ideas (e.g. new mover, new parent, brand propensities
- Identify potential new product development given available data and analytics
- Monitor trends and changes in the data, providing comprehensive reports
- Study and identify skews in the Wiland Data, and research supply chain to determine the source of the skews
- Profile potential new sources to determine incremental lift in coverage or quality
- Evaluate new sources for unique data to determine match capability and ultimate coverage in the product
- Provide second level support of reported issues, particularly those requiring data research
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Data Analysis, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of related experience in consumer marketing data including demographics, interest data, transactional data, segmentation data, and modeled propensity data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior analytical skills.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Knowledge of Wiland products and data is a plus.

- Department: Product Management
- Compensation Range: $82,000 - $109,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
