Our technology enables 1:1 chats with real dermatology providers and lets users to share their journeys with an engaged and growing community. Members can upload photos and track their progress over SMS, as well as browse and post digital postcards to share victories and encourage others.
Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a curious data analyst who thrives at the intersection of Product Analytics, Digital Product, and Growth Marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical, and product foundations – with experience in deriving insights from complex data and a hunger to drive meaningful business impact and leverage user insights to guide product strategy.
Additionally, you’ll contribute to our broader Insights & Analytics team and elevate company data culture by sharing your learnings, facilitating partnerships with key stakeholders, and building new capabilities for using data to drive decisions.
Essential Duties & Impact Areas
- Works with product & technology partners and business end-users to deeply understand data, document data assumptions and definitions, as well as, help define KPIs for business units and determine analysis needs and requirements.
- Owns the end-to-end development of dashboard and visualizations from requirements gathering, to iterative development with stakeholders, to final launch and communication of insights.
- Creates and maintains statistical models and visualization for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data.
- Drives continuous learning by proactively identifying opportunity areas, translating them into structured analysis, generating actionable insights, and advocating for proposed next steps to key stakeholders.
- Partners with product development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources.
- Embedded analysts focused on analysis and modeling of financial, marketing or product data and partners closely with our digital product teams
- Ensure actionable & meaningful analysis of KPIs for A/B testing workstreamsFinds the root causes behind variances of key parameters and resolve issues for data systems by performing deep-dives using various analytical techniques.
- Ability to monitor initiatives while effectively communicating business value through the creation of reporting, data sources, and ad-hoc analysis.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of analytics experience
- 1-2 years experience working collaboratively with product & tech teams: product management, engineering, UX, data engineering, etc.
- Strong expertise in manipulating data sets through statistical software and programming languages (ex. SQL, R, SAS, Python, C++, C, Perl, etc.).
- Experience using Python, Tableau, or Hex for data wrangling, visualization and statistical packages
- Experience in different statistical methods for framing hypothesis, experimentation principles/AB testing to forecast & communicate results for core business and product KPI’s
- 2+ years experience with product optimization work, for example, app/web funnels optimization, referrals & social features, push notifications/ email optimization, retention products, and LTV modeling.
- Experience with ETL frameworks and define logging needs in partnership with Data Engineering
- Strong communication skills - Ability to tailor communication across audiences, clearly conveying data learnings and distilling insights through data story-telling.

$100,000 - $150,000 a year
