Job Description & Responsibilities
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking a data-driven individual who has a background in data analysis, quality, and visualization in marketing analytics for the position of Marketing Data Analyst. The individual should be detail-oriented, a problem solver, a good communicator and, be able to work independently and collaborate within a team. The ideal candidate would have a basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Excel and a basic understanding of math and statistics for data analysis.
Responsibilities include:
- Data storytelling: Assist in preparing presentations, memos, and reports including data visualization to show campaign performance and deliver insights to inform campaign optimizations and strategic pivots
- Work with platforms like Google and Adobe Analytics to assess site traffic trends and other performance data to identify insights to inform site and campaign improvements
- Work with paid social and digital platforms to compile media performance data and conduct analyses.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and address data anomalies, working in partnership with teammates to ensure media and web data used for analyses are high quality
- Collaborate with team members daily to work under tight deadlines to fulfill requests across teams
- Coordinate with vendors providing services and data to support media performance analyses
- Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and data analysis
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling, meeting coordination, agenda development, and note taking
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in areas such as social sciences, business, public policy, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Basic understanding of common web analytics platforms like Google and Adobe
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organization, writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms
- Basic understanding of math and statistics
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements
- Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization
- Experience working with Looker Studio, Tableau, or other data dashboards
- Experience conducting statistical analyses using platforms such as Stata or R

Salary: $57,000 – $73,000
