Job Description & Responsibilities
Guggenheim Investments is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented individual to join the Human Resources team. Reporting to the Vice President of HR Analytics, this position will play an important role in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Workday. In addition, the HR Systems & Data Analyst will assist in creating HR reports and analytics, designing and maintaining business process work-flows in Workday, and auditing HR data.
The position is based in our New York City office and will be required to be onsite 4 days per week.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS ensuring applications meet the needs requirements and objectives of the HR department
- Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives
- Support the Senior HR Data Integrity Manager to gather analyze and present HR data for strategic decision-making purposes
- Maintain Workday data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities
- Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations to the Senior HR Data Integrity Manager and HR leaders
- Identifies recommends and programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries filters macros and reports
- Collaborates with the vendor and HR staff to plan modify and customize the Workday and to test new applications
- Prepares training materials guides and documentation
- Provides user training and hands-on support
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers vendors and technology
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of Workday
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years prior experience working with Workday
- Prior financial service experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel
What we offer
Annual base salary between $90,000 and $95,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
