Job Description & Responsibilities
Wagmo is growing our product features, backend operations and the ways we continue to service our customers to ensure we make pet wellness and care available to all pets and pet parents. We have a diverse, lean team and a culture where we take work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. As we grow, we are looking to bring on our first Data Analyst.
Our Tech Stack: Sigma BI, SQL, Python and Go (Golang), Javascript, React, Next.js, Flutter, Google Cloud, Kubernetes
What You'll Do
- Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer (with a dotted line to our Head of Engineering), you will develop data models, reports and dashboards from ideation through production
- Integrate and transform data for analysis using SQL and data visualization tools (Sigma BI)
- Validate data to ensure accuracy
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on optimizing their data environment
- Work with internal stakeholders (product managers, marketers, engineering team) to define requirements, establish priorities, offer solutions and execute development
- Execute projects with minimal guidance
Requirements
What You'll Need to Be Successful
- 3-4 years of experience within data analysis (Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Business Analyst)
- Ability to translate business needs into requirements for data visualization
- Strong excel experience (Pivots, V-Lookups)
- SQL experience a must
- Understanding of Dbt - data build tool a plus
- Technical knowledge of data modeling and database design
- Strong Math and Analytical skills
- Experience with business intelligence software, such as Sigma BI, Power BI, Tableau
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
