Job Description & Responsibilities
The Digital Data Analyst will be an integral part of the digital team tasked with monitoring and analyzing critical digital metrics to present data-backed insights and recommendations that will inform the Museum's content and product development strategy and roadmap. The Digital Data Analyst collects, aggregates, and reports on digital data metrics (Web, Social, Gaming, Email, etc.) and metrics for related content and products (Digital Games, Video Content, Audio Content) to inform the Museum's content and product development decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collects, aggregates, and reports on digital data metrics (Web, Social, Gaming, Email, etc.) and metrics for related content and products (Digital Games, Video Content, Audio Content) to inform content and product development decisions.
- Performs data analysis to understand the engagement and impact associated with each platform/product service to aid in developing future strategies.
- Helps develop and evaluate customer journeys and provides audience insights to help inform improvements within and across digital channels.
- Provides regular reports to the digital team and other stakeholders, including the analysis and insights for digital channels, content, and products to help inform decision-making.
- Provides recommendations on analytical methodologies and frameworks for various analytical projects to improve data collection and analysis.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand the business and develop data-driven insights that are both strategic and operational to improve decision-making.
- Implements appropriate quality control procedures for analysis, reporting, and data visualization to improve the accuracy of information.
- Builds reports, and funnel views, within existing and new data visualization tools to share information across the organization.
Work Schedule
This position is hybrid, full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 or more years of digital analytics experience
- Demonstrated experience working with digital distribution channels, digital content, and digital products (for example Web, Social, Digital Games, Video, Audio, Third Party Distribution Platforms) Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to manage large quantities of data quickly.
- Experience working with and using Google Analytics (G4).
- Demonstrated understanding of Google Tag Manager, Event & Conversion Tracking.
- Experience using data visualization tools.
- Demonstrated presentation and written, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-management, self-pacing, and organizational skills .
- Comfortable researching and learning new technology applications.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
What we offer
Starting Salary
Exempt (Salaried). $70,000 - $80,000 Annually
