Payments ᐧ Remote, United States
The Role
As a Data Analyst on the Payments team, you will work alongside the SVP Payments to identify trends, test hypotheses and derive insights that can be used to unlock the potential of Bloomerang's rapidly growing payments platform. We are looking for a curious and intellectually rigorous individual who understands how they can use data to inform the decision making process and empower stakeholders across the organization.
What You Will Do
- Develop an in-depth understanding of available payments data across the various Bloomerang and third party systems.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering Teams to help them understand how to best structure, store and surface Bloomerang's Payments data for both internal and external (i.e. customer) use.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Support and Success teams to identify opportunities to drive payments adoption and increase usage.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- 2-4 years of experience designing, running, and presenting data analysis.
- Experience with SQL.
- Ability to distill large and complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Ability to explain complex and nuanced topics to cross functional teams in simple and digestible terms.
- Self-starter mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead efforts from start-to-finish with limited guidance.
- Willing to interface with experts across the organization regularly for data insights.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and common patterns of user behavior.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with the ability to explain and/or document steps taken in preparing analyses.
Nice to Haves But Not Required
- Knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Experience with BigQuery, MySQL Workbench, and Tableau

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is: $59,500 - $80,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
- This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
