This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our office locations.
The Client Development Data Analyst is responsible for aggregating, analyzing and reporting on the performance of a wide variety of client development and marketing activities across channels to drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance strategic decision-making. The position also helps maintain data integrity, create process improvements, and enhance data mapping across a complex data intelligence ecosystem. The Data Analyst works closely with a team of client development professionals and must be able to interact successfully with all levels within the firm. The position requires confidentiality of personnel and firm matters. Essential job functions include:
- Produce meaningful marketing and client development KPI dashboards and deliver cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights.
- Determine KPI/benchmarks, collect and analyze data, present trends, and report on campaign and project success. Recommend actionable steps to drive revenue growth.
- Implement tracking into various marketing and client development initiatives.
- Design relationship and conversion optimization strategies, with the aim of improving efficiency and increasing ROI.
- Analyze online user behavior, relationship data, conversion data, client journeys, funnel analysis, financial metrics and multi-channel attribution.
- Develop and maintain reporting processes and procedures, automating where possible.
- Compile quarterly and project-based reports; run ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed. Make recommendations for where to focus client development resources to drive engagement, relationship and revenue growth.
- Spot opportunities and recommend innovative methodologies to improve the analytical procedure.
- Work daily with analytic software, tools and resources.
- Troubleshoot issues that affect tracking, execution or reporting.
- Assist with efforts to ensure quality, prioritization and integration of data across platforms, including CRM, client foundation dashboard, email marketing tool, website, new business intake, proposals software and other client development databases.
Requirements
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related or heavily analytic applied field required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Statistics.
- Three to five years of data analytics or related experience, particularly to inform decision-making around ROI.
- Experience with SQL and querying relational databases.
- Strong command of a statistical programming package; R or Python preferred.
- Experience with PowerBI, or another reporting tool such as Tableau, Domo or Microstrategy; in the absence of these tools experience creating reports in R or Python using tools like GGPlot or Matplotlib.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VB scripting), etc.
- Analytical and statistical modeling skills including the ability to collaborate with firm’s Data Science team to provide data mining solutions to complex and diverse marketing, client management and business relations.
- Experience in the creation and maintenance of dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Proven experience/knowledge of CRM, email, website CMS and Marketing Automation Tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) required.
- Meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to communicate analytics principles and findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
What we offer
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience.
The full time base annual salary for this position in the Denver, CO market is expected to range between $74,000 - $108,000, in Los Angeles the market is expected to range between $85,000 - $125,000, and in Oakland the market is expected to range between $86,000 - $126,000.
Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
