Job Description & Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other project team members, and is responsible for data preprocessing, algorithm and tool testing and refinement, data documentation and sharing, and assist with software development on neural signals (fMRI and EEG signals) and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
Develop data analytic toolboxes and software for the project teams shared by the project collaborators. Manage human neuroimaging datasets. Coordinate with project PIs and team members at multiple sites to make updates on data/software. Engage in data preprocessing and curation, algorithm/tool testing and refinement, data/software documentation and sharing. Conduct research for neural data analysis and collaborate with team members with data and software support. Provide support on multiple projects to meet timelines Develop new statistical methods for human neuroimaging data. Collaborate on writing of scientific papers and scientific presentation.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- To qualify you must have a BS degree or higher in neuroscience, computer science, or related field with 1-2 years related experience.
- Requires an in depth understanding of fMRI data collection, fMRI data management, fMRI data archiving and fMRI data standards.
- Knowledge of fMRI data sharing and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Python and Matlab programming language
- Ability to work on multiple projects, tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in research, healthcare or university setting is preferred
- Experience with neuroscience and neuroimaging research are a plus
- Demonstrated strong teamwork and organizational skills, and outstanding interpersonal skill
What we offer
NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $65,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
