We are Planned Parenthood Direct, an ancillary organization of Planned Parenthood, that provides access to sexual and reproductive health care from the convenience of an app. We are looking for a Data Analyst who can develop, deploy, and manage our BI interfaces and provide insight and recommendations for data integrity. In this role, the candidate will have to work with query tools, data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and data modeling tools to provide the business with views into key performance metrics. The candidate will also work closely with the development team to create queries that analyze data usage and improve platform performance.

Position is full-time remote. Applicants must be a green card holder or American citizen and reside in Eastern or Central U.S.A.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions
- Presenting information through reports and visualization
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Maintain and support our Tableau business intelligence platform
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Provide insight and recommendations regarding data modeling and use
- Assist developers in areas related to data modeling and management within the core PPDirect systems
Requirements
Required Technical Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst using Tableau or similar reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and ETL
- Experience with writing complex queries in SQL
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience working with business stakeholders to understand, document and implement reporting needs
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical personnel
- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as PHP and JavaScript are welcome

- University or college degree required

$85,000-$95,000 Annually based on experience
