Job Description & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for analyzing and reporting on enterprise-wide analytics, specifically as it pertains to financial drivers in the CoverMyMeds organization. As part of Financial Analytics, within the broader Data & Analytics team, this role will partner with finance and business leaders throughout the organization to identify and analyze trends relevant to the business and healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will develop a working knowledge of our operational data ranging across all our products and be able to understand and analyze the financial impact. Beyond analysis, this role will assist in developing presentations for senior leaders within the company to share findings and make recommendations to the business strategy.
What You’ll Do
Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees’ primary responsibilities.
- Analyze large, complex data sets and extract meaningful information
- Develop good understanding of CMM business units, products, and market influences
- Work closely with analysts, finance team members, and business leaders across the organization to understand business needs
- Develop BI dashboarding with direction from senior team members and review of team leader
- Support the business with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Work closely with the Finance team to develop data reporting to quantify impact of product, operations, and network changes
- Apply principles, theories, and concepts in business intelligence, descriptive statistics, and data visualization to work products
- Monitor and report on daily and monthly trends compared to our forecast and budget expectations with minimal review/supervision
- Develop presentations and write-ups to share findings including key insights and recommendations as directed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of our Financial Analytics team and will be able to develop, understand, and utilize finance data assets.
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, data analytics, computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics or business intelligence role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and solid financial acumen.
- Ability to quickly find patterns in data with targeted direction of business ask and summarize high level findings
- SQL proficient, Snowflake experience preferred
- BI tool proficient, Tableau experience preferred
- Technical contributor in cross-functional working groups

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$80,300 - $133,900
