Job Description & Responsibilities
Reporting to our Chief of Staff, we are looking for a Data Analyst who will utilize their customer-centric approach to define, document, analyze, and evaluate data across the business with an emphasis on marketing analytics and attribution. In addition to marketing analytics, this role will assist with cross-functional data needs and general business KPI reporting.This is the perfect opportunity for you if you love driving product and business results through data storytelling and are looking to contribute to a high-energy early-stage business!
What You'll Do
- Provide quantitative analysis, market expertise and a strategic perspective to the Marketing Team
- Own marketing attribution across all channels and ensure stakeholders have the insights and confidence to make informed decisions
- Perform in-depth analyses on customer behavior to support acquisition and retention efforts
- Develop customer segments and personas to drive marketing efficiency
- Enable cross-functional partners by making data accessible in way that allows them to self-serve (ex: Operations, Finance, Product)
- Conduct data analysis across the organization to proactively make strategic business recommendations (e.g. cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact analysis) and drive Jackpot's product strategy
- Lead and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations by creating visual quantitative information to influence multiple levels of stakeholders
- Automate reports and iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide Jackpot business insights at scale
Requirements
You Ideally Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Statistics, or Data Science
- Proficiency with common analytical programming languages (ex: Python, expert in SQL)
- Expertise in end-to-end data development including data model design, quality review, deployment and maintenance
- Experience developing and deploying data science models, especially in the Cloud environment
- Familiarity with marketing data tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience in building visualizations using common BI tools such as Tableau
- Experience in B2C e-commerce businesses
