Job Description & Responsibilities
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support our commercial teams by building scalable data tools, executing data analyses, and building data-driven stories that showcase Garner Health's value to clients. You'll also transform complex data into actionable insights to drive decision-making across our organization. This role reports to the VP of Data Analytics.
Responsibilities will include:
- Detailed Claims Analytics
- Data-driven storytelling: Convert data and analytics into compelling narratives that demonstrate the value Garner provides in reducing healthcare costs and improving quality of life. Support Customer Success and Sales teams in presenting these insights to existing and prospective clients.
- Business Intelligence Development: Design and build business intelligence dashboards and automated tools that can produce client-facing reports at scale, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support: Partner with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing and other teams to ensure Garner has the necessary infrastructure for data-driven decision-making. Assist in designing critical business KPIs, developing forecasting models, and uncovering answers to open-ended questions that inform strategic decisions across departments.
Requirements
Ideal candidate has:
- 3+ year of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as management consulting, investment banking, or startups.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with a strong ability to perform complex data analysis and generate business insights.
- A commercial orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- A willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system

What we offer
The target salary range for this position is: $170,000 - $190,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
