Job Description & Responsibilities
The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making within the organization. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to advise on best data practices, deliver dashboards and reports, and provide actionable insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Including But Not Limited To)
- Conduct data analysis to identify leading indicators and metrics that impact KPIs.
- Engage with stakeholders to determine critical questions and provide actionable insights rather than just raw data.
- Synthesize analysis results in a non-technical manner to inform recommendations and propose next steps.
- Use various computational languages, platforms, and environments to prepare and manage data for analysis and reporting.
- Assess whether requests are best suited for in-depth analysis or operational reporting
- Translate business goals into analytical frameworks and models, offering insights, recommendations, and actionable data
- Create high-quality dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
- Build and maintain dashboards based on style guides, and keep content organized. Less is more!
- Promote sustainable, repeatable processes and advise stakeholders on best practices to reduce manual processes.
- Test and validate new data sources and data models.
- Ensure accuracy and alignment with business practices by testing new dashboards and data models.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in analytics, finance, operations, or systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Passion for extracting actionable insights from data and answering complex questions through data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Domo, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Beginner level proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and/or R or proven ability to learn new programming languages.
- Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to improving analytical skills continuously.
- Knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in analytics, segmentation, forecasting, data management, data mining, and data manipulation preferred
- Independent worker with the ability to seek help or additional expertise when necessary.
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation, focusing on delivering accurate and timely results to team members, coworkers, and management.

What we offer
COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. We offer health, vision, dental, and pet insurance.
