Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will be a member of a team that collects, processes, analyzes, and visualizes data, providing meaningful insights and informing decision-making across multiple business areas in our enterprise. Each day, you will participate in a daily standup, use Jira to manage your assigned work, and serve as a data analytics partner to cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and responding to the changing needs of our customers.
To thrive in this position, you should possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, have a deep curiosity and aptitude for data, and have experience in writing complex SQL queries. Additionally, you should be proficient in producing end-user reports and dashboards, leveraging multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Salesforce, JSON, and Excel.
This job is primarily remote, with occasional required travel to Baltimore as needed.
Requirements
We Are Seeking a Data Analyst With Experience In
- Developing advanced SQL queries
- Transforming business requirements into effective data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Using data integration tools (such as Fivetran and SSIS) and techniques to build automated, scalable, repeatable, and integrated analysis using modern data architectures
- Transforming data from various sources (such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Salesforce, and JSON) in preparation for analysis and reporting efforts
- Ensuring the accuracy of the data delivered through attention to detail, validating business requirements, and testing
- Collaborating with partners to investigate and resolve any data discrepancies
- Learning new technologies quickly and independently
- Python and Alation experience is a plus.
What we offer
Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $100,000 annually.
