Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and will be responsible for statistical analysis, data visualization, and data processing to unearth trends, create reports, and translate findings into strategies that enhance our service delivery and operational efficiency. You will help define and manage the flow and structure of our data, participate in process improvements around data capture and utilization to optimize care delivery, and will be responsible for supporting the product and engineering team in building out an integrated technology suite using a data-first approach.
What you will be doing
- Collecting, processing, and cleaning data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, identify trends and patterns, and translate them into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into improved healthcare solutions.
- Presenting findings in clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Developing predictive models to optimize care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining standardized reporting for partners.
- Supporting numerous initiatives with data-driven insights and research-based recommendations.
- Staying up to date on all organizational considerations that are data-dependent for decision-making.
- Tuning in to new advancements in healthcare analytics, emerging research, and data methodologies.
- Supporting the management of our business intelligence and analytics software.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a data analyst, preferably in the healthcare sector or another highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for translating data into actionable healthcare insights.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with a full spectrum of stakeholders, from medical staff and engineers to senior leadership
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs and competing requests from sales, legal, finance, operations, clinical, and technical teams.
- Comfort with evolving processes (as we grow as a company).
- Experience with a BI tool such as Metabase or Tableau preferred
- Experience with Google Sheets and Google Apps Script preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and challenges is a plus.
Special Considerations
- We are a remote-first company with occasional travel for company on-sites.
- We operate primarily on East Coast Standard Time (EST), +/- 1 hour.
- This role will require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
