Data Analyst job description

Nymbl Science is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to enhance our mission-driven tech improving older adults' mobility. The ideal candidate will drive our data analytics function, support product insights, and deliver valuable reports to our customers. This position is a hybrid working role 2-3 times a week in the office. We are located in Denver, CO.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights including claims data and usage/engagement data.
  • Interpret data to assess the clinical value of Nymbl including but not limited to ROI calculations and dose-response calculations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical interventions based on user utilization and outcomes.
  • Identify areas for product improvement and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Leverage Machine learning as appropriate
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance.
  • Work closely with a clinical advisor and CMO to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in healthcare data analytics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data management and analysis.
  • Participate in developing and implementing new data-driven initiatives to enhance Nymbl products.
  • Effectively communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) and data visualization software (e.g., Sigma, Snowflake)
  • Experience with statistical analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with fall prevention strategies and clinical protocols is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience working with health plans and health systems
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry best practices and regulations
