Senior Data Analyst job description

Bonterra is building a data platform to serve as the single source of truth for all data and reporting needs of its cross-functional business teams. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a passion for working with Customer Service/Support teams and data in a SaaS environment. We are looking for someone who will improve and deploy our services/support reporting processes, and working cross-functionally with business and technical teams to understand and execute on data and insights needs for these functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Business Process Documentation for key customer support systems, integrations, data flows & models, business rules, & transformations.
  • Document ongoing functional and technical data requirements for these business teams and developing datasets to meet those requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionary and metric definitions for all customer support datasets, metrics, and KPIs, and review them regularly for changes and updates.
  • Design Quicksight dashboards for insights and reporting when necessary.
  • Conduct data enablement sessions for these business teams by communicating new datasets, metrics, KPIs, and processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years minimum holding a role in operations working with customer support data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Quicksight preferred).
  • A proven history of building data platforms and insights solutions for customer support teams within a SaaS organization.
  • Passionate about and focused on customer outcomes with the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical data requirements for the data engineering team.
  • Proficient in leveraging SaaS product and support data to develop actionable insights and story-telling to drive business impact.

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.

US base salary range: $98,600 - $118,000

Please note that the compensation range specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States. For international applicants, actual salary offers may vary based on the local market compensation standards and will be determined in accordance with regional considerations, including but not limited to applicable laws, cost of living, and industry norms.
