Manager Data Analyst job description

We are seeking a passionate Manager, Data Analyst who enjoys analyzing content and communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will be experienced in data manipulation and interpretation to help us grow our product and business productivity. The Manager, Data Analyst will provide expertise in developing data-driven narratives and strategies, consumption trends, data reporting, and identify key insights aligned with the content strategy and business goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze data to provide meaningful insights. This individual must have strong data manipulation and interpretation skills.
  • Clearly communicate analysis and complex concepts to non-technical audiences orally and verbally.
  • Collaborate with content teams to synthesize findings and develop data-driven narratives and strategies.
  • Analyze performance of content on all platforms and use this analysis to help inform content distribution decisions.
  • Perform ad hoc and recurring reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Conduct data analysis, build models and reports, and identify key insights that align with content strategies and business goals.
  • Keep target audiences and local culture top-of-mind, constantly looking for and identifying content opportunities that drive resonance with key demographics.
Manager Data Analyst job requirements

What to bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role for a brand or creative / production agency; sports experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Bally Sports team partners, regional sports network business, and subscription-based services.
  • Deep understanding of digital content distribution platforms and trends.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Proficient in Excel and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for Colorado and New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules as well as the NYC Salary Transparency Laws. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
